TMH Dock/Door specializes in niche support for customers that extends to all corners of the customers facility. Repairs and maintenance of dock/door inspections/repair/installations, racking projects, industrial fan installations are the primary pillars that support the division, but we are always diversifying our portfolio to meet the needs of our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs docks & doors, various fixed plant machinery.
- Compile quick “field quotes” for basic repairs & upgrades
- Electronically document inspections and service orders
- Immediately relay all needed repairs regarding safety items and provide recommendations for repairs prior to leaving site.
- Submit full inspection reports no later than close of business to the customer
- Participate in on call rotation
- Job Scoping
- Mentoring/Training other employees
- Any other task (within the technician’s ability) that provides a solution to the customer at the direction of their manager.

- Solid Mechanical & Electrical proficiency

- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. although not on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. on a rare basis. This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching. This position requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling.
This position will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside approximately 10% of the time. This position will be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record (as outlined in the Toyota Material Handling Midsouth Employee Handbook), including a valid driver’s license. Must be willing and able to work off the ground. Must be able to work varied overtime, as required by customer, be available for “on call” as part of the service office rotation and be able to travel and work out of town, on occasion.
/ Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
- 5-10 years of experience in industry preferred
