Assistant/Associate Professor in Accounting Job Summary
- Teach Accounting courses:
Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I & II, Federal Income Tax, Government Accounting and Auditing. - Conduct research and publish in academic Accounting, Finance and/or Business Analytics journals.
- Teach courses on site at Tuskegee University.
- Provide students with internship opportunities through external organizations (e.g., NABA).
- Help students navigate business models, blockchain and other environments.
- Introduce students to industry strategies and prepare Accounting majors for the CPA Exam.
- Participate in university functions such as convocations and annual commencement exercises.
- Ph.D/DBA in Accounting or related field from an AACSB accredited institution.
- Experience in Accounting and Auditing sales preferred.
- Scholarly academic (SA) status for AACSB standards preferred.
- Must be available to teach on site at Tuskegee University.
Physical Demands: FLSA Exempt. Status:
