Paralegal

Description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal that will be collaborating with internal departments and external counsel to support ongoing litigation and legal compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Manage complaints and legal issues filed against the institution.

- Attend mediations to document proceedings and provide accurate notes.

- Assist with litigation processes, including document preparation and case management.

- Handle EEOC claims start to finish.

- Perform electronic filings and ensure proper handling of legal documents.

- Conduct legal research to support case development and compliance efforts.

- Collect and organize case-related documentation for review and analysis.

Requirements - Proven experience in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation.

- Strong knowledge of litigation processes and employment law.

- Familiarity with federal contract compliance and affirmative action regulations.

- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.

- Excellent organizational skills to manage case documentation and filings.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration with legal teams and external counsel.

- Proficiency in handling e-filings and managing legal documentation.

- Prior experience in higher education or similar industries is preferred.
