Post Doctoral Associate

The College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS) at Tuskegee University is seeking candidates for the Post‑Doctoral Fellow position in various disciplines of agricultural sciences. From time to time it is necessary to employ a Post‑Doctoral Fellow to execute the work associated with various contracts and grants. This is a continuous open announcement.

Positions are available for a minimum period of one (1) year for a 12‑month appointment, subject to annual renewal based on funding, need and satisfactory performance for a maximum period of four (4) years. Post‑Doctoral Fellows are a non‑faculty position.

• Agricultural Economics
• Animal Sciences
• Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences
• Entomology
• Food Science
• Horticulture
• Poultry Science
• Rural Sociology, or related fields

• Ph.D. in the area of expertise at the time of employment.

• Experience in developing publications, including journal articles, and technical reports.
• Good written, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in computer systems and in using database management, spreadsheets, and word processing tools (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Experience in data analysis, including statistics, and writing various reports.
• Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others as a team member.
• A proven track record of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
