Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Review, approve, and sign tax returns for release to clients.
• Coach or mentor staff members to assist with enhancing their skills and further developing their careers.
• Gather relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns.
• Analyze tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Network, build relationships, and attract new clients or business for the firm.
• Bill clients for the services and guidance provided.

• Leading teams and working closely with partners and clients.
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax return preparation and filing.
• Providing mentorship and development opportunities for staff.
• Contributing to the growth and success of the firm through client acquisition and relationship building.

• Prior public accounting experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA or EA license
