A Day in the Life The Accounting Analyst is responsible for maintaining the financials of the business and ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials. This role will be responsible for working one on one with members of the accounting team to help the department support organization goals. This position also serves as a resource to the executive team to help maintain departmental budgets.
Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing Collects and analyzes financial data for short- and long-range planning. Enhance existing reports to improve accuracy. Prepare monthly bank and GL account reconciliations. Daily cash applications to AR journal entries. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Maintain financial security by following internal controls. Work with fellow accounting staff to help with overflow.
Prepare and/or review accounting records, financial statements, and reports to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance with standard operating practices. Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation. Assist in month end closing and review. Assist in year-end audit by preparing all audit schedules and reports as requested by auditors. Assist with additional third-party audits and other ad-hoc assignments. Additional duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned by CAO, Treasurer or Controller.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field of study required. 1-2 years accounting experience preferred Strong proficiency in Excel required. Net Suite or other accounting software experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle fast paced work environment. Strong work ethic.
