Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for overseeing a preschool classroom to prepare children educationally and social-emotionally for their next level of education at the Village of Hope or an offsite school. They will also oversee parent helpers in the classroom, mentoring them in educational and disciplinary techniques.

This position is part-time with a schedule of Monday through Friday 7:30am-12pm.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Preschool Teacher with a knowledge of how to deal with children who have been through trauma. Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods. Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms. Excellent communication and instructional skills. Ability to act as mediator between children.

Education:

Associate's degree (AA)

Driving Requirements:
Required to drive a Company vehicle on behalf of Company.
