Automated Test Systems Engineer (Onsite)

Schedule: M–F, 8–5 (may ramp to ~50 hrs/week during peak periods)

Location: 100% Onsite

Overview

Join the team responsible for functional validation and testing of
*** and Volkswagen Group ECUs, including infotainment, telematics, BMS, ADAS, and zonal ECUs. You will develop and support custom automated test solutions used in labs and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test sequences in Python
• Design, debug, and support automated test equipment (ATE)
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, EMC, and manufacturing teams
• Create test cases, procedures, and documentation

Must Have

• Strong Python programming experience
• Hands-on hardware debugging experience (mandatory)
• 5+ years of ATE or electronics test experience
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets
• Experience with test instrumentation (power supplies, DMMs, signal generators/analyzers, multiplexers)
• Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, DoIP, Automotive Ethernet, LIN)
• Experience with industrial buses (USB, VISA, GPIB, Ethernet, Serial, RS-485, SPI, I2C)

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL or data platforms (Databricks, Superset)
