Software Test Automation Engineer

Overview

The Software Test Automation Engineer will design and develop automated test solutions for automotive electronic control units (ECUs), supporting functional validation, hardware debugging, and system-level testing. This role is hands-on, highly technical, and 100% onsite
, working closely with design, validation, and manufacturing teams.

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may extend up to 50 hours/week during peak periods)

• Develop automated test sequences in Python using standard automation frameworks
• Define test requirements and strategies with electronics design teams
• Perform hands-on hardware debugging and electrical troubleshooting
• Interface with test equipment (power supplies, DMMs, signal generators/analyzers, multiplexers)
• Create clear test documentation, procedures, and reports
• Support deployment of automated test systems in lab and manufacturing environments

• BS/MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years experience with automated test equipment (ATE) for electronics
• Mandatory experience with hardware debug
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets
• Experience with automotive protocols (
  CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, DoIP, Automotive Ethernet
  )
• Experience with industrial protocols (
  USB, VISA, GPIB, RS-485, SPI, I²C, Ethernet
  )

• Experience with SQL, Databricks, or Apache Superset
• Automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace industry background
