- Fabricate wire harnesses, cables, and subassemblies
- Assemble enclosures, chassis, and full prototype systems
- Troubleshoot circuits, assemblies, and systems
- Perform component-level rework and repair (including power components & MOSFETs)
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigation
- Support engineering validation and verification testing
- Flash and configure firmware using approved programming tools
- Support board bring-up and prototype validation
- Use diagnostic interfaces and test software for troubleshooting
- Operate oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads
- Support testing of high-voltage and high-power electrical systems
- Follow strict safety protocols in lab environments
- Perform light machining (drilling, tapping, basic milling)
- Build test fixtures and jigs from schematics or drawings
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Document builds, test results, and debug findings
- Communicate technical issues clearly to engineering teams
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical / Electronics / Engineering Technician
- Strong hands-on soldering and rework skills (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 preferred)
- Experience debugging power electronics and complex assemblies
- Comfortable working with high-voltage systems (up to ~1,000V)
- Experience supporting prototype builds in an R&D environment
- Ability to independently analyze issues and report findings clearly
- Familiarity with CAD viewers, ERP/PLM systems, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with EV charging systems, power electronics, material handling equipment, or charging infrastructure
- High school diploma required
- Technical school or associate degree preferred
- Equivalent hands-on industry experience considered
