Medical Referral Liaison ; Sleep Medicine & Orofacial Pain

Orange County, CA | Full-Time | Local Travel Required

Primary focus:
Newport Beach (with coverage of Tustin/Santa Ana and surrounding OC)

Can’t Sleep Center is a physician‑collaborative specialty practice focused on obstructive sleep apnea and TMJ or orofacial pain. We partner with primary care physicians, cardiologists, ENTs, neurologists, and VA providers to deliver evidence‑based, non‑invasive treatment solutions for patients who struggle with sleep, breathing, and chronic facial pain.

A major part of our work is supporting patients with obstructive sleep apnea, including those who are CPAP‑intolerant or seeking alternatives, using a comprehensive, medically aligned approach that includes oral appliance therapy, sleep hygiene and behavioral coaching, and additional non‑invasive therapies.

We are expanding and seeking a confident, relationship‑driven Medical Referral Liaison to grow our physician network and strengthen existing referral partnerships. This is not an order‑processing role. This is a growth role.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physician offices throughout Orange County
• Educate providers on our non‑invasive, interdisciplinary approach to OSA care including support for CPAP‑intolerant patients
• Present clear referral pathways and help offices understand how CSC complements medical sleep care
• Re‑activate dormant referral sources and build new referral pipelines
• Coordinate educational meetings and lunch‑and‑learns
• Track referral metrics and report performance consistently
• Represent Can’t Sleep Center with professionalism, follow‑through, and clinical credibility

• 2+ years experience in medical sales, DME, pharma, provider relations, healthcare liaison work, or related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills with physician‑facing confidence
• Comfortable interacting with physicians, office managers, and clinical teams
• Self‑motivated, organized, and accountable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Sleep medicine exposure is a plus.

Base salary: $55,000–$75,000 depending on experience

Performance bonus tied to measurable referral growth and treatment starts

Led by Dr. Kareem Abraham, USC‑trained in orofacial pain and TMJ and ABDSM Diplomate track, Can’t Sleep Center bridges dental and medical care to improve long‑term patient health outcomes. We are building a regional center of excellence in sleep and TMJ care, with locations in Tustin/Santa Ana and Newport Beach.
