NetSuite Admin Intern or Contractor

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Net Suite Team! This role focuses on Net Suite system administration rather than heavy coding or software development. However, having a logical understanding of programming—or interest in learning development—would be a plus and can be explored if the skillset is present.

The intern will support Net Suite system operations including configuration, saved searches, dashboards, workflows, user support, and general platform management. This position provides hands‑on experience with how business operations are powered by technology. Ideal candidates will balance technical literacy, analytical thinking, and business process awareness, without needing full software engineering skills.

• Documenting Current and New Scripts
• Develop automation to improve day to day efficiency
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to larger projects

• Assist in testing systems
• Engage in continuous learning about Net Suite and Business operations

• Information Systems (MIS / Management Information Systems).
• Computer Information Systems (CIS) / Business Technology.
• Computer Science (CS) / Data Science.

• Basic understanding of systems or databases.
• Comfortable with logical reasoning and problem‑solving.
• Ability to learn Net Suite workflows, roles, dashboards, and saved searches, etc.
• No programming experience required (but welcome).

• Comfortable communicating with end users.
• Ability to translate user needs into Net Suite configurations and solutions.

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
