IT Project Manager; part-time

Nutraceutical company in Orange County, CAis seeking an IT Project Manager to coordinate and deliver technology projects across the organization. This role will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

This is a contract-to-hire position.

Part time: 25-30 hours/week but may increase to 40hrs once projects start to ramp up.

Pay rate range: $55-57/hr

• Manage IT projects from planning through implementation and completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Track project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Support requirements gathering, testing, UAT, implementation, and training.
• Maintain project documentation and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT project management or project coordination experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Asana.
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated environment is a plus.
• PMP, CAPM, or Scrum certification is a plus.
