Overview

Summary:

Hands-on accounting tasks but also focus on operations of a sales company, financial analysis and accounting management. The position fills leadership position working with Company managers, namely the Group CFO and the Americas CEO.

Duties and Responsibilities (including the following, other duties may be assigned)

Responsibilities
  • Developing Organizational Financial Strategy: work with other Company decision-makers to minimize risk and identify growth opportunities, using his/ her advanced accounting skills to generate actionable insights from technical and financial data.
  • Supervising and Reviewing Accounting Practices: supervises the accounting team, check for accuracy and ensure that all work meets applicable compliance standards.
  • Technical and Interpersonal Leadership: answer difficult or technical accounting questions.
  • Improving Efficiency:
    As leader in for-profit organizations, he/she helps identify ways to improve financial efficiency: excel at cutting costs and boosting businesses’ profits.
  • Managing Relationships with HQs and other Stakeholders: his/ her duties extend beyond internal concerns. Like other top executives, they also manage relationships with a company’s HQs, partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing Operational Efficiency:
    Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth business processes, including supply chain, logistics, inventory and distribution management. Collaborate with various HQ departments to ensure the seamless execution of operational strategies aligned with financial objectives.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements across operational areas to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service level to customers.

CFO Key activities

  • Managing Budgeting and forecasting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Analysing financial information
  • Aiding management in financial decisions
  • Developing financial reporting systems
  • Improve efficiencies and reduce company costs
  • Create plans and strategies
  • Liaise with auditors for annual monitoring
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports
  • Developing and implementing internal control procedures
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Manage investment financial analysis
  • Present year end accounts
  • Produce financial reports and business plan
  • Enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards
  • Monitor and manage daily operations across multiple business functions, including demand planning, supply chain, logistics and distribution.
  • Implement and manage KPIs for operational performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment with financial goals.

Operational Key activities

  • Logistics & Warehouse Management
  • · Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • · Ensure optimal warehouse layout and stock accuracy.
  • · Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • · Liaise with external logistics providers and ensure service level compliance.
  • · Coordinate with the internal sales team to ensure smooth order processing and customer service.
  • · Support sales operations by aligning logistics and inventory availability with commercial needs.
  • · Track operational performance related to sales and customer satisfaction.
  • IT & System Coordination
  • · Act as local point of contact for IT-related issues and coordinate with the central IT department.
  • · Ensure proper functioning of ERP, WMS, and CRM system.
  • · Support the rollout of new digital tools and operational technologies and IT support to employees.
  • Operational Leadership
  • · Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
  • · Manage the operational budget and contribute to strategic planning.
  • · Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Salary range
: 150k$ – 180k$, Company Health Insurance, other benefits.
