Job Summary
:
The Production Manager at Clear Path Medical oversees all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient, high-quality production of medical devices in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). This role leads a team of production staff, optimizes workflows, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement to meet company objectives and customer demands.
- Production Oversight
:
Manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production of medical devices while maintaining quality and safety standards. - Team Leadership
:
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators; foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. - Process Optimization
:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs using lean manufacturing principles. - Compliance & Quality
:
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485) and company quality management systems; support audits and corrective actions. - Resource Management
:
Oversee inventory, equipment, and staffing levels to meet production schedules; coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams. - Performance Metrics
:
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production output, downtime, and defect rates, and develop strategies to meet targets. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
:
Work closely with engineering, quality, and R&D teams to support new product introductions and process validations. - Safety & Maintenance
:
Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure regular maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Education
:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) a plus. - Experience
: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role; experience in medical device or regulated industries strongly preferred. - Skills
:- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, GMP, and quality management systems.
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QT9) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485).
Salary Range
: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Includes comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, paid time off).
