Shift Schedule & Coverage Expectations
This role provides leadership coverage for second-shift operations and requires flexibility to support production, quality, inventory, and warehouse activities while maintaining a sustainable schedule.
Standard
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Weekday Overtime Coverage:
As needed, the shift may extend up to 12:20 AM to support production continuity, inventory activities, issue resolution, or staffing needs.
Saturday Overtime Coverage:
Eight-hour shift every other Saturday, scheduled in advance based on business needs.

The Role
The Production, Quality & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading second-shift operations across manufacturing, quality, inventory control, and warehouse functions. This role requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to balance production objectives with quality compliance, material control, and inventory accuracy.
This supervisor serves as a key point of contact between Production, Quality, Materials, and Planning, ensuring that work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
Lead and support second-shift production teams to meet daily production goals.
Ensure adherence to work instructions, quality requirements, and traceability standards.
Monitor production flow and material availability, proactively addressing issues.
Troubleshoot process, equipment, and personnel issues using root-cause thinking.
Provide clear shift handoff reports outlining production status, issues, and follow-up actions.
Coach and develop operators through consistent expectations, feedback, and support.
Address performance and conduct concerns in alignment with company policies and values.
Quality Responsibilities
Review and ensure accuracy of production documentation, travelers, and quality records.
Issue label reprints and perform reconciliation to maintain traceability and inventory accuracy.
Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Products (NCPs) and support containment efforts.
Partner with Quality personnel to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with quality procedures and medical device manufacturing requirements.
Support audit readiness through accurate recordkeeping and process discipline.
Warehouse & Inventory Responsibilities
Assist with material pulls and perform reconciliation of issued materials.
Lead inventory cycle counting activities and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels and escalate shortages or discrepancies.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support material movement and warehouse operations.
Support receiving, stocking, staging, and transfer of materials as needed.
Maintain organization and control of warehouse and production inventory locations.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
2+ years of supervisory, lead, or equivalent leadership experience.
Medical device manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting quality systems, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Understanding of traceability, documentation, non-conformance processes, and inventory reconciliation.
Ability to make independent decisions and resolve issues effectively.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to balance accountability and respect.
Effective communicator who can work across Production, Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Planning.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
Availability to work second shift with flexibility for overtime as business needs require.
