Location: Tustin, CA Pay Rate: $29.00/hour Status: Temporary-to-Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Flexible start time up to 6:30 AM)

The Analytical Quality Control Technician will perform critical laboratory inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. You will provide essential analysis to support the QA department and assist in investigating quality issues, field failures, and root cause analysis to support ongoing production.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Testing
- Conduct comprehensive quality control checks on all manufactured and jobber products.
- Perform product testing as requested by customers to ensure specific requirements are met.
- Maintain meticulous quality control files, records, and data logs.
- Assist the QA Manager and R&D team with small batch testing and new formulation trials.
- Establish data sheet figures for new products through rigorous testing (including tensile strength, flexural strength, tear strength, specific gravity, shrinkage, viscosity, etc.).
- Ensure all testing procedures adhere strictly to ASTM standards.
- Responsible for the organization, calibration, and cleanliness of the Quality Control laboratory area.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and ensure a safe working environment.
- Experience: 2-5 years of technical experience in a chemical laboratory setting with direct Quality Assurance experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with the properties of liquid chemicals and proficiency with a variety of lab instruments and equipment.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent math skills, technical aptitude, and a strong attention to detail for data recording and analysis.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, strong organizational habits, and the ability to manage time efficiently in a production-support environment.
