Quality Assurance Associate, Eurofins Environment Testing Calscience, Tustin, CA

Full‑time position. Hourly pay: $20–$22, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Overview

The QA Associate supports the QA Manager and QA Specialists in maintaining QC records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training records, Demonstrations of Capability (DOCs), and accurate data within LIMS. The role includes assisting with quality assurance projects, audits, documentation, and client support.

Responsibilities
  • Generate and review Control Charts and Method Detection Limit (MDL) studies.
  • Prepare logbooks and transcribe hard‑copy documents into a digital platform.
  • Organize the corrective action system and support internal audits.
  • Maintain accurate information in LIMS modules (sample splitting, equipment, analyst data).
  • Assist with accreditation authority requirements, certification modules, and renewal submissions.
  • Support QA program implementation, including performance indicator reporting.
  • Help with Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) reviews and UFP‑QAPP worksheet preparation.
  • Assist with external audits, client visits, and document control database maintenance.
  • Archive and store records appropriately.
  • Respond to client and laboratory staff questions.
  • Maintain the Laboratory Staff DOC roster.
  • Guide onboarding of new employees, create new‑hire packets, assign tasks, and track training records.
Qualifications
  • Some college coursework.
  • At least 1 year bench chemistry experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Associate or higher degree preferred.
  • Chemistry background with laboratory courses.
  • Knowledge of environmental analytical methods and regulatory requirements.
