Essential Responsibilities
- Perform analysis using one or more of the following techniques: GC, LCMS, GCMS, GC, HPLC, ICP/MS, ICP-OES, UV-VIS, FTIR, Titration, Gravimetric Analysis, or other appropriate techniques, maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Prepare analytical standards and maintain inventory.
- Perform daily balance, temperature, and monthly pipette verification.
- Process samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Participate in proficiency testing and ISO 17025/accrediting body requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments; perform routine diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Participate in relevant ISO QA/QC activities and documentation.
- Maintain analytical and quality records required for accreditation/certification.
- Submit accurate and timely reports based on the analysis.
- Identify results requiring further investigation or discussion with the Department Manager/Supervisor.
- Participate in OOS investigation and/or CAPA when necessary.
- Plan and perform work to meet deadlines and expected turn‑around times.
- Learn new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Work effectively with other departments.
- Provide training to new chemists when needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- BA/BS degree in Chemistry related field, or 2‑3 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, GDP.
- High level of computer skills and familiarity with data acquisition software.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Good conceptual basis in analytical chemistry.
- Proven ability to perform standard chemical laboratory techniques.
