RETAIL SALES AND MERCHANDISING SUPERVISOR

• Lead the sales floor, ensuring associates greet customers and present credible product solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction standards.
• Oversee the execution of advertising set and visual merchandising standards within the department.
• Supervise freight flow and merchandise processing, including cycle counts and inventory‑control tracking of company assets.
• Participate in staffing, training and scheduling activities, ensuring competent associates are hired and any issues are communicated to management.
• Provide coaching and feedback to associates on sales presentation, customer satisfaction, visual merchandising and desired results.
• Lead open and close procedures and serve as floor manager in the absence of store managers.
• Support store operations by maintaining loss‑prevention awareness and aiding physical inventory preparation.
• Collaborate with senior management and/or Regional HR Manager to handle HR issues in accordance with guidelines.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma required; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail sales environment with direct accountability for sales, customer‑service targets and merchandising standards, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong professional communication skills, ability to handle multiple customers and relate to individuals with varying technical expertise.
• Ability to generate sales and execute corporate initiatives.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods.
• Shifts include pre‑ and post‑open hours, mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
