in the Life

The Business Loan Representative (BLR) supports business development by working primarily on internal leads generated by the company and account executives. The role focuses on nurturing leads, engaging potential clients, and transitioning them into funded loans. This position is a clear path to a Business Development Officer or Account Executive role, where individuals will grow and manage existing partnerships and participate in community events to originate loans.

The BLR will identify the appropriate loan products, review KYC and KYB, perform preliminary credit analysis, and collect and review all required documents for both business and individual borrowers to submit the initial packaged request for processing.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Proactively manage and follow up on leads generated by the company and account executives.
  • Engage with potential clients via phone, email, and meetings to understand their needs, gather information, and assess suitability for financing.
  • Qualify leads in a timely manner, adhere to company timelines, and ensure accurate tracking and follow‑up through the sales process.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of loan products, guidelines, pricing, required documentation, educational resources, and other services offered by Lendistry.
  • Use product knowledge to build relationships with small business owners and generate new loan applications.
  • Manage company‑provided leads and applications to meet and exceed production goals.
  • Review loan application packages for completeness and eligibility.
  • Consistently reach out to target prospects to maintain loan pipelines and achieve funding goals.
  • Maintain exemplary customer experience throughout the entire lending process.
  • Provide research and resolve customer questions or issues, including discrepancies, system issues, policy interpretations, and audit remediation.
  • Achieve mastery of Salesforce and the Lendistry portal to deliver an unparalleled technology experience to customers and colleagues.
  • Meet quality metrics for all applications reviewed and submitted to manager and/or credit.
  • Meet all timelines for KPIs and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively capture and assign customer information and tasks in Salesforce to create an outstanding sales process experience.
  • Actively engage in community activities that support Lendistry’s mission.
  • Adhere to lending, communication, and risk management guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational soundness.
  • Regularly take advantage of all available learning to keep product and service knowledge current.
  • Build and sustain strong rapport with colleagues to enhance efficiency and prioritize customer experience.
  • Engage and manage relationships with partners who initiate contacts with the company, including qualifying inbound inquiries, understanding partner needs, and coordinating internally for successful onboarding and collaboration.
