Lighting and Electrical Technician

** Overview*
* The Lighting & Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing lighting maintenance, minor electrical repairs, and troubleshooting at retail and commercial customer locations. This role requires independent work, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting branch operational goals.

** Pay:**   $28-$35/hr

** Responsibilities*
* ** Key Responsibilities*
* + Perform preventive and corrective lighting maintenance and minor electrical repairs.

+ Service assigned customer accounts and maintenance routes.

+ Troubleshoot lighting and electrical systems and recommend additional repair needs.

+ Accurately complete work orders, material tracking, and service documentation.

+ Operate company vehicles, ladders, aerial lifts, and other access equipment safely.

+ Support customer satisfaction initiatives and maintain professional client relationships.

+ Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

+ Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call service schedules as needed.

+ Collaborate with Service and Sales teams to support customer and business objectives.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

* _Required_

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Current California Non-Residential Lighting Technician (NRLT) or General Electrician Certification.

+ 2+ years of lighting maintenance and electrical service experience in commercial or retail environments.

+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

+ Ability to work independently and safely in a field service environment.

_Preferred_

+  Aerial Lift Certification.

+ Boom truck operating experience.

+ Experience preparing estimates and service recommendations.

+ OSHA 10 Certification.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile service management systems.

_Physical Requirements _

+ Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and ladders.

+ Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, and boom trucks.

+ Ability to bend, climb, reach, stand, and drive for extended periods.

+ Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
