After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant – Twickenham, London (TW2)

Bishop Perrin C of E Primary School, Twickenham, London (TW2).

Responsibilities
  • Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the club.
  • Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro‑actively encourage children to participate.
  • Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of snack time.
  • Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (physical, behaviour, dietary).
  • Develop strong relationships with all children at the club to ensure every child has as much fun as possible.
  • Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding.
  • Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Skills & Experience
  • Passion or interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
  • Fun and energetic nature.
  • Reliable and able to effectively communicate with colleagues and children alike.
  • Able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 – 11 years.
  • Opportunities to gain qualifications and further growth & development are available for candidates who match our ambitions.
  • Full training and inductions will be provided to all Assistants.
Hours

Monday – Friday, 2.50pm – 6.00pm, term‑time only.
