Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.
An established property services contractor is looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join their team working across MOD sites around West London. This is a permanent role focused on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and refurbishment works, offering stability and varied maintenance work across a range of properties.
The Role:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment works across MOD properties
- Undertake general multi-trade repairs and maintenance as required
- Carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling works
- Complete repairs, replacements and general property improvement works
- Carry out flooring repairs and installations, with Altro flooring experience desirable
- Manage workload effectively and complete jobs within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate job records and complete paperwork as required
- Follow site health and safety procedures and relevant security requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader within property maintenance or refurbishment
- Competent across a range of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling
- Experience carrying out planned maintenance and refurbishment works
- Altro flooring experience would be desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
- Own hand tools
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and any required MOD security clearance
- Permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Covering MOD sites across West London
- Company vehicle provided
