Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments to vendors, and maintaining strong financial records. This role also supports customer vetting and assists with maintaining efficient accounting operations.

• Provide excellent customer service in all aspects of the role
• Answer phones, emails, etc.
• Complete assigned tasks for the vetting and setting up of new customers
• Accounts payable
• Vetting Customers

• Strong customer service skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Work ethic second-to-none
• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Experience in a clerical position/office setting
• Experience in the Transportation or Logistics Industry is a plus, but not required
