To join our dynamic team in this role, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, , CA, AZ, TX, NC, SC, GA or VA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you to come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week. For those candidates that live outside the commutable distance to TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote.

The Target Pay Range for this position is $-$ annually. The full Pay Range is $ - $ annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

As a Sr. Product Manager – Collection Operations Strategy and Systems, you’ll lead the charge in refining BECU’s collections strategy and operations. Your work will ensure that technology solutions and processes deliver measurable results, improve member communications, and optimize recovery efforts. You’ll manage critical systems and oversee agency partnerships —all while using data-driven insights to shape strategy. WhatYou’ll Do
- Own Strategy and
Roadmap:
Define and execute the vision for collections systems and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Manage Collections Systems:
Oversee administration of current platforms (including Fax). - Lead Agency Partnerships:
Manage relationships with external collection agencies, resolve challenges, and share best practices to improve recovery outcomes. - Optimize Member Communications:
Refine digital outreach strategies (SMS, email) and run test-and-control campaigns to improve engagement and results. - Analyze and Improve:
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions. - Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with Credit Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, and external vendors to deliver seamless solutions. - Drive Continuous Improvement:
Capture insights, monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies to enhance efficiency and member experience.
- Strategic Influence:
Shape collections operations and technology decisions that impact thousands of members. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
