Entry-Level Construction Field Professional

STRATA is hiring an Entry-Level Construction Field Professional in Twin Falls. You'll work on active construction projects, test materials like soil and concrete, learn valuable technical skills, and play an important role in helping build the roads, buildings, and infrastructure that keep our communities growing.
No industry experience? No problem. We hire for attitude and work ethic and then provide the training you need.
What You'll DoNo two days are exactly alike. You may:
- Visit active construction sites throughout the region
- Test soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
- Observe construction activities and document project progress
- Collect samples and perform field inspections
- Record and report test results using company-provided technology
- Assist laboratory personnel with material testing as needed
Successful candidates are:
- Reliable
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Interested in construction and learning a skilled profession
- Safety-minded and detail-oriented
- Able to communicate professionally with coworkers and clients
- Willing to work overtime during peak construction season
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
- Ability to obtain industry certifications through company-provided training
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active construction sites
