Salary: $21.00-$29.00 per Hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-5:00 PM with occasional overtime opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Schedule service, maintenance, and installation appointments.
  • Dispatch technicians efficiently based on location, skill set, urgency, and schedule availability.
  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed to maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate appointment confirmations, delays, and schedule updates with customers.
  • Coordinate return visits, warranty work, maintenance agreements, and follow‑up appointments.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, work orders, and scheduling information within company software.
  • Support technician productivity while balancing customer expectations and business priorities.
  • Work closely with service managers and technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with general office and administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

This position requires strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. It also requires a high level of professionalism and customer‑service standards in stressful situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, respectfulness, and strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities are essential.

  • Two or more years of dispatching or scheduling experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services industry.
  • Strong customer service and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using dispatching, scheduling, CRM, or service management software.
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple technicians and adjusting schedules throughout the day.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions‑focused under pressure.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent; preferably a minimum of 6 months of dispatcher or related experience.
