Call for selection of part-time associate PDI to teach in the following field of knowledge:

Human nutrition and dietetic sciences

FUNCTIONS TO BE DEVELOPED:

• Design and teaching of subjects assigned to the field of knowledge object of the call, especially the subjects of Collective Catering, Food Technology, Hygiene, Food Safety and Quality Control, Community Nutrition, Diet Therapy, Nutritional Education, Nutrigenomics, Nutritional Assessment, Practicum I and Practicum II.
• Elaboration of the teaching plan of the subjects in the field object of the announcement.
• Advise the degree coordinator in achieving the associated teaching quality objectives.
• Own functions of the Research Teaching Staff of the Tecnocampus.
• Final Degree Project Tutoring (TFG).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or graduate or diploma in Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Biology, Pharmacy, and/or Medicine (Must clearly specify this in the CV and provide a scanned copy of the degree)
• Teaching experience in the field covered by the call for applications of at least half an academic year (This must be clearly specified in the CV and will be accredited by means of a teaching certificate issued by the centre where it was carried out).
• Have a main work activity other than possible teaching at Tecno Campus. (This requirement will be checked and the non-compliance contract will not be formalized).

VALUABLE ASPECTS OF THE CV.The CV of the people who meet the essential requirements and who have therefore been admitted to participation will be valued. The maximum score will be60 points.

• Be in possession of a Master's degree related to human nutrition and dietetic sciences or food science and technology or the field of collective catering or health. (It is necessary to clearly specify this in the CV and provide a scanned copy of the degree). Max. 10 points
• Work experience in the professional field of the call for applications of more than 5 years (this must be clearly specified in the CV and scanned employment certificate(s) must be provided). Max. 5 points
• University teaching experience of more than half an academic year. (It must be specified clearly in the CV and it will be certified by means of a teaching certificate issued by the university where it was carried out). Max. 5 points
• Experience in university management of more than half an academic year. (This must be clearly specified in the CV and will be accredited by a teaching certificate issued by the university where it was carried out). Max. 10 points
• Specific training in the field subject to the call (This must be clearly specified in the CV). Max. 5 points
• Mastery of the Moodle environment (This must be clearly specified in the CV). Max. 5 points
• Be in possession of a Doctor's degree. (You must specify this clearly in the CV and provide the scanned title). Max. 5 points
• AQU/ANECA accreditation. (You must specify this clearly in the CV and provide the scanned accreditation). Max. 5 points
• Research in the subject area of the call (This must be clearly specified in the CV). Max. 5 points
• Competence in the English language. Ability to teach classes in English. (It is necessary to provide a valid official title). Max. 5 points

VALUABLE ASPECTS IN THE INTERVIEW. Those who exceed 40 points in the CV assessment phase will be called for an interview. The maximum score will be40 points.

• CV presentation by the candidate.
• Interview of the selection committee with the candidate.
• Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English, spoken and written.

WORKING CONDITIONS. The calls for associate professorships are for the purpose of establishing a scholarship, not for specific positions. In this sense, the candidates who end up being finalists in the process and who appear on the ranking list of the final report will become part of a scholarship for their eventual hiring as an associate professor in the field of knowledge of the call.

These candidates will be notified to provide teaching in accordance with the needs of the Tecno Campus University Center. If the offer from the Tecno Campus University Center suits both parties, they will be hired.
