INFANT TODDLER TEACHER NO CDA
Status: NON-Exempt / HOURLY
Reports to:
Education Administrator
Schedule:
Seasonal full- time. Approximate start date March/April; runs through December with some downtime during the off-peak period.
Starting pay rate depends on current CDA Credential.
Responsibilities- Plan and conduct classroom instructional curriculum and activities to encourage the growth of language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication skills.
- Supervise and monitor the work activities of assigned Teacher Aides, Classroom Floaters, and Volunteers.
- Conduct and monitor developmental screening of children, assist in collaborating and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
- Monitor the progress of individual children.
- Perform daily health checks of children.
- Participate in home visits with parents and conduct parent-staff conferences.
- Prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
- Perform duties of office staff as needed.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating Teacher Aides.
- Represent the MSHS program to community, local and regional educational agencies.
- Stay current on new educational practices, techniques, and objectives.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide children with experiences that foster curiosity, initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
- Develop and implement clear, reasonable, consistent, age-appropriate rules and expectations.
- Multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Maintain confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
- Perform all duties in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practices, and Head Start Performance Standards.
Office or classroom setting; may be exposed to electrical shock, fumes, or airborne particles; noise level moderate to elevated.

- 0-1 year: 16 hours up front, accrues to 5 days per year after first year
- 3-10 years: 16 hours up front, accrues to 8 days per year
- 10-20 years: 24 hours up front, accrues to 12 days per year
- 20-30 years: 24 hours up front, accrues to 16 days per year
- 30+ years: 32 hours up front, accrues to 20 days per year
