Morningside Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a 4th Grade Teacher. This full‑time position requires a commitment to nurturing a love for learning, promoting critical thinking, and implementing innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including formal assessments and informal observations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and academic needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning and engage students.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, implementing positive behavior support strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
• Foster a love for reading and writing through engaging activities and literature-based instruction.
• Organize and participate in school events, including parent‑teacher conferences and community outreach programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification for elementary education.
• Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in 4th grade.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusivity.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
