5th Grade Teacher - Sawtooth Elementary

Sawtooth Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a diverse classroom setting. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance student learning experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and ways to support learning at home.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and administration to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
• Proven experience teaching at the elementary level.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build positive relationships.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for all students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
