Position: Special Education Teacher - Twin Falls, ID

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students in a thriving educational community near Twin Falls, Idaho. We are seeking five dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers who are ready to make a lasting difference for K-12 learners with a wide range of disabilities and support needs, including students who are medically fragile or require assistance with routine care. You’ll work onsite, collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and families to ensure individual student needs are met.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Valid Idaho State Teaching Certificate
  • l Child Certificate (required)
  • Special Education (SPED) endorsement
  • Previous experience working in Extended Resource Classrooms (ERC) is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with a caseload that may involve toileting and supporting medically fragile students
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct instruction and specialized support for students with a range of disabilities (mild to severe)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other educators, families, and related service providers to support student growth
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction as needed
  • Actively participate in team meetings and professional development
