Harrison Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a diverse classroom setting. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and critical thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance student learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and ways to support learning at home.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build positive relationships.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for all students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
