Middle School Social Studies Department Lead

The Middle School Social Studies Department Lead will support district-wide Social Studies initiatives by collaborating with the district Social Studies Department Head and serve as a liaison between the middle and high schools to strengthen instructional practices and student achievement. This position provides leadership at the middle school level in implementing district goals, facilitating communication and collaboration, supporting curriculum, assessment, and professional learning.

Candidates must currently serve as their school Social Studies Department Lead and demonstrate strong instructional leadership, collaboration skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in mathematics education.

Employment is contingent upon board approval and successful completion of a federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
