Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma designation.

• Echocardiography unit in an acute care hospital setting with a Level III Trauma designation
• 4x10 hour day shifts
• Epic EMR is used in this position
• No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accepted
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

• Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience required
• Active ARDMS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification via CCI required
• Active state license required if applicable; pending licensure will not be accepted
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
