We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team as the #1 Podiatrist In Twin Falls! We strongly believe in maintaining a happy work environment, one that is willing to go above and beyond for every patient!

Proper preparation of patient arrival through review schedule and anticipation of what needs to be prepared for each patients encounter at the office.

Assist doctor in the flow of patients in and out of the treatment room in an efficient way by following office protocols.

Obtain all information needed from patients prior to doctor entering the treatment room. Intake and documentation done so that doctor can see immediate need of patient. Close appointment with patient once doctor leaves room.

Assist doctor with in-office procedures following office protocols with understanding and ability to follow sterile technique with set up, assisting, clean up.

Have full understanding of patient appointment initial scheduling and follow-up protocols.

Possess excellent knowledge and ability with regards to patient service skills, understanding of patient etiquette and personal appearance protocols of the practice.

Have full understanding and adhere to all office protocols that pertain to the position of Back office assistant per Physician’s approval.

Must be willing to travel to Twin Falls to cover as needed and for Staff Meetings.

Must be willing to travel to Burley as needed for coverage.

Job Tasks Required of Position
  • Rooming patients and performing intakes.
  • Answering phone and scheduling appointments.
  • DME fitting and dispensing.
  • Taking x-rays.
  • Oriented to administrative and clinical aspects of a medical office.
  • Verify insurance and obtain benefit information.
  • Knowledge of IDC-10 and CPT coding.
  • Clean and stock treatment rooms, office, and maintain inventories.
  • Electronic medical record and scheduling software.
