Medical Assistant

Monarch Medical Group is a family practice providing a full scope of medical, pediatric and obstetric services. We are a family-owned business that is focused on providing quality, personalized care to our patients, looking for a responsible Certified Medical Assistant to help with the patient and administrative needs of the business. The ideal candidate will need a flexible schedule, provide a friendly patient experience, competent in all medical assistant tasks and be a team player.

They will be able to perform their job accurately and efficiently while maintaining the company’s standards.

• Administer pediatric and adult vaccines.
• Maintain medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
• Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
• Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
• Assist physicians during medical procedures.
• Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.

• Pediatric and adult vaccine experience (required)

  Works EHR/EMR (preferred)
• Obstetric patient care (preferred)

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
