Description:

Department operates with a 37-hour guarantee.
SLPs are expected to treat 8 to 10 patients per day.
There are 3 SLPs working each day.
Candidates will cover both acute inpatient and acute rehab areas.
Floating to other facilities may be required, approximately 30 minutes away.
A manager is present on each shift for support.
Rehab aides are available to assist SLPs.
Travelers must be capable of working weekends as needed.
Holiday coverage may also be required.
Scrubs are permitted, but must not match colors of other departments.
Usually, there are 2 to 3 days of department-specific orientation.
Travelers should anticipate a Monday to Friday schedule for onboarding.
The facility has a radius rule to ensure compliance for all candidates.
Common diagnoses include stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis.
Candidates are expected to work in an acute inpatient and acute rehab setting.
Please ensure all qualifications and certifications are maintained throughout employment.
