About the Role:

The Event Bartender (On-Call) plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests at various events have a memorable and enjoyable experience through exceptional beverage service. This position requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to different event settings, from weddings to corporate gatherings, while maintaining a professional demeanor. The primary end result of this role is to provide high-quality drink service, ensuring that all beverages are prepared and served in accordance with safety and health regulations.

Additionally, the Event Bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, engaging with guests, and responding to their needs promptly. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall success of the event and the satisfaction of the attendees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous experience in bartending or beverage service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
  • Customer service experience in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at events.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any beverage-related inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol service regulations and health standards.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure smooth service during events.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for engaging with guests and providing excellent service. Attention to detail is crucial when preparing drinks and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
