As a Parks Operator, you will assist in enhancing community aesthetics by maintaining clean facilities, open spaces, and the community forest in order to promote community gathering, provide recreation opportunities, support special events, and foster a growing community. Performs related work as required.

The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform manual work associated with the repair, maintenance and beautification of City parks, athletic fields, or related areas. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a Lead Operator. An employee in this class performs duties as required or as assigned by supervisory personnel. The principal duties of this class are performed in an outdoor environment that may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards.
