Cheese Packager Details:
- Temporary position
- $ 19.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available
- Packages powder, seals bags, and palletizes
- Checks weight of packages
- Assists in reworking product
- Cleans packaging room
- Promotes and exhibits strong Food Safety and Quality practices
- Promotes and exhibits strong Sustainability, practices
- Promotes and exhibits strong Housekeeping practices
- Must report Safety, Food Safety, and Quality, Sustainability, and Housekeeping problems to direct supervisor
- Actively participates in teams and on projects to improve the metric for given area of responsibility
- Perform other duties assigned
Cheese Packager
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Capable to reading and comprehending text and numbers, doing simple math, using charts and tables and using measuring instruments.
- Forklift experience preferred or must be trainable
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisor
- Agility to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
- Excellent record required in safety, attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to stand for an 8-12 hour shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
