Milk Receiving Operator; G5 D Shift; weekend

Milk Receiving Operator (G5) D Shift (06:00 PM to 06:30 AM) Every Other Weekend Required

This job description is to outline the responsibilities and daily tasks of the Milk Receiving Operator. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that safety is number one priority and that all safety policies are followed
• Taking samples and visually inspecting all milk trucks to be unloaded
• Ensuring that trucks are unloaded/loaded safely and efficiently
• Ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Keeping truck bays clean and clear so that trucks can move in and out efficiently
• Keeping track of cleaning timers for silos so that they are washed in a timely manner
• Hooking up silos for CIP in a safe and timely manner
• Working closely with the QA team for sample results
• Making sure all GMPs are followed
• Following Chobani's safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Cross trained to operate and run scale house as needed per business needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Dairy experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to multi-task
• Trouble shooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Understand and follow GMPs
• Walking on wet floors
• Be able to lift 75 lbs
• Serve as back up in the absence

The salary range for this full-time position is $24.25 - $30.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
