Milk Receiving Operator; G5 D Shift; weekend ; Twin

Summary

This job description outlines the responsibilities and daily tasks of the Milk Receiving Operator. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.

• Ensure that safety is the number one priority and that all safety policies are followed
• Take samples and visually inspect all milk trucks to be unloaded
• Ensure that trucks are unloaded/loaded safely and efficiently
• Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Keep truck bays clean and clear so that trucks can move in and out efficiently
• Keep track of cleaning timers for silos so that they are washed in a timely manner
• Hook up silos for CIP in a safe and timely manner
• Work closely with the QA team for sample results
• Make sure all GMPs are followed
• Other duties as assigned
• Follow Chobani safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Cross trained to operate and run scale house as needed per business needs

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Dairy experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to multi-task
• Troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Understand and follow GMPs
• Walking on wet floors
• Be able to lift 75 lbs
• Serve as back up in the absence Milk Receiving Operator
