Position: Production Associate – Manufacturing / General Labor

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Associates to support our manufacturing operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing lumber products for production and shipment. In this hands‑on, general labor role, you will help ensure materials meet quality standards and customer specifications in a safety‑focused, team‑oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for entry‑level candidates looking to build experience in manufacturing, production, or lumber operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move, handle, and secure lumber products and materials according to instructions.
  • Stack finished products based on bundle size and customer requirements.
  • Label materials by product type, size, and count.
  • Apply individual tags before and/or after treating or production.
  • Band, bundle, and secure materials using strapping and corner protectors.
  • Use a staple gun and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Verify correct quantities are bundled, labeled, and secured.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
  • Record production activity on production sheets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in safety meetings, continuous improvement (CI), and team activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • No prior manufacturing experience required; lumber or production experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
  • Basic math skills preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a physical manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00/hour, depending on experience.

Shift

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm.
