This position operates, monitors and adjusts the packaging equipment in a manner consistent with safety, food safety, quality, and production standards. Position is for C Shift (Nights).

• Monitors line sanitation, ink‑jet coder, bagger operation, dyna‑pack operation, settlers and case sealers.
• Performs routine metal detector checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitors line flow rates and checks for proper feed of product through baggers.
• Monitors and adjusts vibrators to achieve optimal bagger performance.
• Orders packaging material.
• Ensures proper container sizing.
• Records packaging machinery efficiencies, downtime, and completes reports accurately.
• Ensures complete packaging quality of product by taking regular checks of weights, seal codes, glue patterns, etc.
• Completes CILs and centerlines.
• Participates in AMD drumbeats.
• Reworks product when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Lock‑out/Tag‑out, forklift, and sanitation certifications are required. If not qualified, training will be provided.

• Effectively communicates in English verbally and in writing; understands instructions and follows directions.
• Experience driving forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must be able to be qualified within the time frames established by the facility.
• Basic math functions required.
• Basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Exposed to a noisy environment with temperature variations from hot to cold.
• Manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per day, including loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dust, fumes, smoke, smells, and allergies.
• Perform repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements.
• Work with hands and arms overhead; work in or under equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance, both on ground level and at height.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to temperatures ranging from ‑20° below zero to 35 °F in freezer operation and 37 °F to 90 °F in plant operation.
• May need to sample food while evaluating products.
• Climb various heights via stairs or ladders regularly.
