Summary
Cup loaders are assigned to load cups into the filler and assist in its manual sanitation. Other tasks may be assigned as needed if the cup loading position is not needed during the shift.
Responsibilities- Make sure they have the right flavor of cups and lids for the product being run on the filler.
- Ensure they have all of the proper materials in the staging area for the run.
- Help ensure the area they are working in is clean and, when the machine is down, help the operator get the machine back to a functional state.
- Load cups quickly and accurately so the machine does not incur any downtime waiting for cups.
- Clean production filling equipment in the filler during the manual sanitation step of the CIP process.
- Complete tasks as needed and as indicated on the Job Duties Worksheet (Foam, clean walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, floor mats, etc.).
- Complete all jobs in a safe, quality manner.
- Assist the operator in setting up the line for production and changeovers.
- Learn how to operate the machine for the operator while on break or lunch.
- Other duties/tasks as required and assigned.
- Load lids:
Consume, stock lids on the filler, load lids including fanning, remove bad lids. - Break cup loaders, filler operators, and cap checker.
- Escalate and communicate issues to leads and supervisors.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Read labels and cups.
- Follow proper GMPs, good hygiene and housekeeping.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to multi task.
- Trouble shooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Walking on wet floors.
- Be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Climbing stairs.
- Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in refrigerated environments.
The salary range for this full-time position is $21.00-$26.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, disability insurance, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement. All employees are eligible for a 401(k) match of 100% on up to 5% of eligible pay.
