Job Summary:
Ensure the carrying out of routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, repair, and early detection of defects wrap around machine, coldstores, robot and cardboard bale machines. Oversees operation of the wraparound machine, coldstores (Odenburg & Real Cold), robot, and cardboard bale machines.
Essential Functions:
- Metal Detector:
Perform metal detector checks at correct intervals following the SOP - Wrap Around Machine (Boxer):
Ensure wrap around machine is full of boxes and liners. Ensure glue pot is kept at proper level - Cold Stores:
Troubleshoot and maintain running of cold store including FIFO, mechanical, and computer programs. Knowledgeable on infeed/outfeed codes - Robot:
Load robot with pallets. Change label rolls as needed. Notify TL of product change for labels - Cardboard Baler:
Properly load machine with cardboard. Properly secure cardboard bale with wire. Move cardboard bale to recycle area. Ensures area machines are functioning properly, troubleshooting any issues
Identify and correct equipment abnormalities. Assists in CIP, maintenance, and upkeep of assigned area. Safely handle, measure, mix, and dispose of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals used in the Clean-In-Place (CIP) process in accordance with established procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and company safety policies. Keeps records in accordance with good manufacturing process and local and state laws. Hand-stack cheese blocks when necessary.
Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct. Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance) Perform other duties as assigned

Regular and timely attendance required
Qualifications:
- Computer experience helpful
- Become forklift certified
- Possess general machine maintenance knowledge. Get along and work well with people
- Cannot have any lifting restrictions
- Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
- Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write instructions in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others
- Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required
