Summary
This job description outlines the role, responsibilities, general tasks, and functions of the Filler Operator who reports to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform filling production and sanitation tasks.
- Manage safety, quality, and production activities, including handling light‑weight issues, yogurt flavor adjustments, material loading, machine breakdowns, delays, and updates to filler room procedures, while aligning with company values and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Train on and operate assigned machinery efficiently.
- Troubleshoot production or machine downtime issues as they arise.
- Clean production filling equipment in the filler room.
- Complete tasks as needed and as indicated on the Job Duties Worksheet (e.g., foam clean walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, floor mats).
- Finish other tasks as required.
- Fill out all required paperwork during the shift, including X‑Ray logs, control sheets, pallet sheets, MDI boards, and cleaning checklists for the lines worked on.
- Cross‑train and learn to operate other equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work on wet floors, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

Salary and BenefitsSalary range: $22.25–$28.75 per hour, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by location and other factors such as experience and training. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, health savings account, flexible spending account, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) match, fertility and childcare assistance, 12 weeks parental leave at full pay after six months, wellness programs, and paid time off.
