Candidate requirements

Job specification

• Provide high-quality care to postpartum mothers and newborns, closely monitoring their health and well-being.
• Assist in all stages of labor and delivery, including antepartum and intrapartum care, managing complications as necessary.
• Administer medications and perform routine assessments, including monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding techniques, and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, neonatologists, and lactation consultants, to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Postpartum or Labor and Delivery.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required;
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
• Experience in caring for mothers with high-risk pregnancies or multiple births is a plus.
